from 1975 until 2014

The dissertation covers from 1979 until 2011, but my relation with the University is still wider.

In 1975, the year of the death of the dictator, I started my failed studies of chemistry, which I stoped since in four academic years I only passed two courses. I knew my wife and some of my best friends. Not that bad!

... but in 2014, the 20th of May, I had the pleasure of explaining the conclusions of my Doctoral Dissertation to the students of the last academic year of the Degree in Political Sciences, following the lessons about coalitions

There is a possibility that the University of Barcelona considers me as a sponsor rather than a Student, after so many years paying fees.

200 pages

In May 2013 I was celebrating 170 pages.

It took me nine months to add 30 pages. Many had been deleted, and many added, but I expected that the goal of 200 pages was nearer that it has been,

Certainly, the number of pages can not be the goal of a doctoral dissertation, but the same way I could write it in Catalan rather tan in English, which is making my life much more complex. Well, you know, we need shot-term challenges to reach the long term ones.....
